Pharmacy Technician, Nevada IA

Overview

NuCara Pharmacy is a dynamic community pharmacy serving patients in Iowa, Texas, North Dakota and Minnesota. At NuCara, we prioritize one-on-one patient counseling and medication management with the goal of delivering the best pharmacy value without sacrificing the quality of care prized by our patients.

We are looking for a full-time, highly motivated pharmacy technician to join our team in Nevada, IA. In this position you would provide prompt, high quality care to our patients and assist the pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of prescription medications. Applicants should have strong communication and organizational skills.

• Data entry
• Patient interaction
• Inventory management
• Assist in directing daily workflow
• Resolving rejected insurance claims

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred but not required. Will train the right person!
• National Pharmacy Technician certification is preferred, not required. If not certified, applicant must pass pharmacy technician certification test within a year of hire date.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to be trained and to work in a full-time role in Nevada, IA.

Store hours are M-F 9:00 am to 5:30 pm and Saturdays 9:00 am to noon. The pharmacy is closed on Sundays and all major holidays. Schedule for this position will be full time and include participation in the Saturday rotation schedule.
