Pharmacy Technician

Join Onero Rx as a Pharmacy Technician in our fast‑growing, family‑oriented group of independent pharmacies located in Lake View, IA.

Full‑time, up to 40 hours per week. No nights, Sundays, or holidays, with some scheduling flexibility. Competitive pay commensurate with experience. 401(k) with company match, medical/dental/vision benefits, employee discount, and other benefits available.

We offer a $500 sign‑on bonus for all new Pharmacy Technicians.

• Follow company policies and procedures, including record keeping, security, and confidentiality.
• Greet customers and answer questions.
• Receive prescriptions, check validity, and process electronically.
• Resolve issues such as rejected insurance claims.
• Select appropriate medication, measure dosages, and fill prescriptions.
• Sort, stock, label medication, and monitor inventory.
• Undertake administrative tasks as assigned.
• Comply with all security measures and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Proven experience as a pharmacy technician (preferred).
• Experience with online prescription systems (preferred).
• Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Reliable with a keen eye for detail.

Pharmacy technicians must be nationally certified and registered with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy. Any person not currently registered with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy technician trainee must obtain registration prior to commencing employment in an Iowa pharmacy.
