REQUIRED

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy.

Pharmacists working in outpatient pharmacy settings need immunization certification through an accredited organization or school of pharmacy (e.g. APhA, PSW).

REQUIRED

1 year ambulatory pharmaceutical experience (for clinic/ambulatory practice areas) or hospital pharmaceutical experience (for inpatient practice areas).

REQUIRED

Pharmacist license to practice in the state of employment, some positions may require multiple state licenses.

Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs;
American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

• Adolescent (13 - 17 years)
• Adult (18 - 64 years)
• Geriatric (65 years & older)

Category II - Some (but not all) employees in this job title may have a reasonably anticipated risk of occupational exposure to blood and/or other potentially infectious materials, usually by location or specific departments.
