Stone Cottage Care Center is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you will assist in delivering high-quality physical therapy services to our residents under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping them regain strength, mobility, and independence.

• Provide physical therapy care within the PTA scope of practice, adhering to established standards and protocols

• Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating residents and developing individualized treatment plans

• Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to promote mobility, strength, and overall function

• Educate residents and their families on exercises and techniques to support rehabilitation goals

• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the rehabilitation team

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Iowa

• Must be 18 years or older

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
