Job Title: Pharmacist in Charge (Community Pharmacy)

Sign-on Bonus: $10,000 for a 2-year commitment

Job Summary: We’re seeking a full‑time Pharmacist in Charge to work 32‑40 hours per week. This role provides leadership and oversight of pharmacy operations, including staff management, workflow efficiency, compliance, and patient care. You will ensure smooth daily operations, exceptional service, and a positive team culture in a busy, community‑focused pharmacy.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations and provide leadership and supervision for pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Perform pharmacist duties, including dispensing, patient counseling, immunizations, and other core community responsibilities.
• Deliver and expand clinical billable services, including Medication Therapy Management (MTM), compliance packaging programs, and other enhanced patient care initiatives.
• Utilize available technologies, including pharmacy management systems, clinical databases, and vendor platforms to optimize workflow, documentation, and patient care outcomes.
• Maintain adherence to all regulatory standards, professional guidelines, and company policies while maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, a high level of motivation, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. They must also be able to efficiently utilize available resources to provide optimal patient care.

Position

Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm
  
  D) from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Current Iowa pharmacy license by starting date.
• 2+ years of community pharmacy experience preferred.

Full‑time positions include competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package featuring health, dental, and vision insurance; life insurance, long‑term disability, short‑term disability, 401(k) match, holiday pay, and paid time off (PTO). Our pharmacies observe closure on Sundays and all major holidays. Staffing follows regular business hours, Monday through Friday, with Saturday hours until noon.
