A day in the life:
The Indirect Tax Analyst at Monster Energy is essential in driving indirect tax compliance responsibilities include maintaining systems for accurate tax calculations, executing and reviewing tax routines such as ICMS/ICMS-ST, PIS, COFINS, ISS, and WHT, developing controls and documenting procedures, and providing expert support and guidance on tax-related matters to other departments and stakeholders. This role is all about ensuring tax compliance with the vibrant spirit of Monster Energy!
The impact you’ll make:
- Assist in the systems maintenance to guarantee the correct tax calculation
- Perform and review all indirect tax routines, including tax calculations, tax returns, and other compliance obligations related to ICMS/ICMS-ST (Tax on the Circulation of Goods and Services), PIS (federal social contribution calculated as a percentage of revenue), COFINS (monthly federal social assistance contribution
- Create controls to be used by the tax department. Follow up on tax legislation changes and apply them accordingly to MEB operations.
- Renew and control Tax Debts Certificates. Give tax support and orientation to other departments, vendors, suppliers and peers.
- Assist the Tax Manager to prepare tax reports and create/review standard procedures in the department
Who you are:
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Additional Experience Desired:
Between 3-5 years of experience in Tax Filling and Calculation. - Additional Experience Desired:
Between 3-5 years of experience in SAP data processing and automation;
Efficiency Improvement. - Computer Skills Desired: SAP, MS Excel, Power BI, Solid knowledge in other MS office application.

Certifications:
SAP and Synchro systems knowledge is preferred. - Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role:
Intermediate English written and spoken is preferred;
Strong analytical skills and keep attention to details; - Knowledge in SAP is desirable;
Hands on and teamwork oriented.
