* Job Description:

**** Duties:*
* • Identify sourcing opportunities in the US and low-cost regions
• Recommend more cost effective and/or reliable products that will improve company position to customers and help in the evaluation of these products
• Support product development by sourcing new technologies from qualified vendors while leading the part qualification process
• Drive process improvements for manufacturability and reliability.
• Read and interpret drawings and industry specifications

* Qualifications:

* • Must be a US Person (US Citizen, person granted US Permanent Resident Card or any individual who is granted status as a "protected person”)
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or 4 years of related experience;
Electrical Engineering preferred
• Extensive experience working in a procurement department in an operations and manufacturing field
** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*
* • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Ability to effectively communicate with suppliers and customers both on the phone and in person
• Multitasking skills including the ability to work across multiple software platforms
• Prior experience with risk management desired
