The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $110,000 - $140,000 per year. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.
The pay range is not guaranteed compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as a discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
Senior Project EngineerThe Senior Project Engineer is a key member of the Project Engineering team, supporting the PTS Sanitary Department in the successful and timely execution of assigned projects as well as mentoring and development of junior engineers. This role is responsible for supporting and/or leading projects by delivering efficient engineering design and execution that maintains or improves contract profitability while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Projects may involve a variety of technologies, including spray drying, powder handling, and evaporation systems. In addition, the Senior Project Engineer may serve as the Project Manager on select projects, with responsibility for scope, schedule, and execution. This role is based at our Hudson WI facility and offers a hybrid work schedule with one day per week remote.

- Recognized as a subject matter expert with extensive knowledge of processes, products, and engineering principles
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar engineering or project-focused role
- Proven experience with sanitary fabrication design
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as required
