Electrical Engineer – Power Design

We are currently assisting a client in hiring an experienced Electrical Engineer for a full-time design role. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, with specific expertise in the design of electrical systems, including PE, SCADA, and relay settings.

In this position, you will primarily focus on the design, analysis, and specification of electrical systems, ensuring they meet the required performance, safety, and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will excel in a collaborative environment while managing complex design projects, meeting deadlines, and adhering to budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems for power generation, transmission, and distribution
• Perform detailed analysis and calculations to support electrical designs
• Specify electrical components and ensure compliance with standards and regulations
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of designs
• Support troubleshooting and optimization of electrical designs as needed
• Ensure that designs are completed on time and within budget constraints

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
• 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on design
• Strong proficiency in PE, SCADA, and relay settings
• Solid understanding of electrical design principles and industry standards
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
