Pay Rate: $17.86 - $20.00/hour, DOE

Under supervision, Instructional Student Assistants (ISAs) perform teaching, grading, and/or tutoring duties during their appointment in an academic department or administrative unit. Work may be on-campus or at an off-campus public agency or private non-profit organization under an agreement with a CSU campus.
Applicants must be admitted or registered as CSU students. Academic Student Employees cannot hold faculty or staff positions simultaneously. Students in multiple classifications (e.g., Teaching Associate, Graduate Assistant, Student Assistant) are limited to working 20 hours per week during the academic year, with full-time hours during academic breaks. The total hours include all positions held.

Grader/Tutor
Primary responsibilities include:
- Grading exams, projects, homework, etc., and entering grades into Canvas;
- Assisting students with projects, homework, and exam prep through scheduled office hours and study sessions;
- Responding to student inquiries via email or Canvas.
Course assignment may include: BA 322 (Business Analytics)
Minimum QualificationsKnowledge and Abilities:
Ability to learn and perform assigned work, work cooperatively, and accept responsibility. Specific coursework may be required for teaching, grading, or tutoring.

Must be admitted or registered as a Humboldt student. On- or off-campus Work-Study eligibility required, as determined by the financial aid office.
