Whiting Community School District is seeking a passionate, student-centered educator to join our team as a 3rd Grade Teacher for the 2026-27 school year.

The ideal candidate for this 3rd Grade position will:

• Deliver high-quality instruction aligned to Iowa Core Standards
• Use data to inform instruction and meet the needs of all learners
• Differentiate instruction to support, challenge, and extend students
• Collaborate with grade-level teammates and support staff within our MTSS system
• Foster a positive classroom culture built on relationships, high expectations, and student engagement
• Communicate effectively with families to support student growth

• Valid Iowa teaching license with K-6 elementary endorsement
• Commitment to continuous improvement
• Ability to build meaningful relationships with students and families
• Growth mindset and willingness to embrace feedback
• Passion for helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally
