Waldorf University (NAIA) in Forest City, Iowa, seeks applicants for a Graduate Assistant in the Hockey program. The appointment includes an online graduate tuition waiver over 12 consecutive online academic terms and an annual monetary stipend of $10,350 paid over 9 months across two academic years. The work/stipend schedule will be determined based on the start date, typically between August/September and April/May.

Ideal candidates should be available by September 1st.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting in monitoring the academic progress of student athletes, overseeing weight training and conditioning sessions, performing individual skill development workouts, conducting film exchange, onsite coaching duties, engaging in all phases of the recruiting process, and other duties as assigned by the head coach.

Requirements:

• Prior collegiate Hockey experience
• Dedication to students and an interest in coaching careers
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Willingness to work/travel evenings, nights, and weekends for practices and contests
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 2.5 GPA, meeting acceptance standards of the graduate program, as outlined at https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). by the start date.
