OB Hospitalist Needed ??? Dynamic Inpatient Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated and experienced OB Hospitalist Physician for a Locum-to-Perm position starting January 1, 2026, near Afton, Iowa, with inpatient coverage at a leading medical center in Des Moines. This role focuses exclusively on obstetric care, with no gynecological duties required. Schedule & Requirements:

January 1, 2026 6.5 shifts per month 24-hour shifts (7 AM???7 AM) Weekend work required In-house call with dedicated call rooms No telehealth responsibilities Location & Facility Details:
Inpatient OB care at a major Des Moines medical center 8-bed OBED On-site imaging, lab, and pharmacy services Clinical Responsibilities:
Manage OBED patients and emergent cases Perform vaginal deliveries and C-sections Provide care for unassigned patients without a primary OBGYN Support Iowa???s only maternity transport team Collaboration with on-call Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists No supervision of APPs required EMR:
Epic Candidate Requirements:
