Job Description:

A remarkable opportunity is available for a dedicated Emergency Medicine physician to provide locum tenens coverage in Farley, IA. This position offers part-time coverage with a maximum of 72 hours per month (12 hours/6 days or 24 hours/3 shifts per month). The schedule allows flexibility, allowing physicians to work 48 hours with a required minimum 12-hour break, though many opt for a 24-hour break.

Responsibilities:
Inpatient Care:
Admit and manage their own ED patients. Conduct rounds on admitted patients. Handle patient discharges. Hospital Setting:
Work in small rural hospitals, managing a range of cases, with a focus on providing comprehensive emergency care. Compensation and Benefits:
Independent Contractor (IC) Status:
As an Independent Contractor group, there are no traditional benefits provided. Part-Time Benefits:
Receive meeting pay and holiday pay at time and a half for holidays worked. Full-Time Opportunities:
Full-time equivalent is considered at least 144 hours per month. For full-time positions, an additional $2000.00/year is offered for completed CME hours in Trauma and Pediatrics. Work Environment:
