Anesthesiologist Near Rock Valley, IA Job : j-237206 We are seeking a qualified Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens or potential locum-to-perm position near Rock Valley, Iowa. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team in a hospital-based surgical services department. The role involves a mix of on-call and scheduled shifts, with a focus on providing high-quality anesthetic care in a Level 2 trauma center.

Weekdays:
Monday - Friday, 6 AM - 3 PM, with occasional weekday call from 3 PM - 6 AM. Hours may vary based on department needs. Weekend Requirements:

Schedule:
1st Call:
Provider can go home once all cases are completed and will return only if necessary. 2nd Call:
Provider stays late and serves as backup. Schedule and Coverage Monday - Friday: 1 MDA on vacation per week (except for two weeks annually). 1 MDA on post-call duty daily. 1 MDA on call daily. 1 MDA on day shift only. 1 MDA on second call daily. Weekends: 1 MDA on 1st Call Saturday and 2nd Call Sunday. 1 MDA on 2nd Call Saturday and 1st Call Sunday.
Other MDAs have the weekend off. Practice Setting and Details Setting:

Cerner Power Chart Average Surgical Cases Per Day: 13 Supervision Requirement:
The locum tenens physician will supervise CRNAs, with the work being almost 100% supervision. The CRNAs are highly experienced and work collaboratively with anesthesiologists. Number of Operating Rooms: 12 Annual ER Volume:
Approximately 25,000 visits Patient Demographics:
Primarily adult/geriatric; no complicated adolescent or pediatric cases. Procedures

Acute Requirements and Preferences Board Certification:
Required Experience:
Cardiac experience preferred Certification Requirements: ACLS, PALS, ATLS, DEA State License Requirements:
