Position: Family Medicine Physician Garner, IA $150,000 Bonus Package

About the Practice

  • Busy outpatient practice with instant volume
  • Join 3 Physicians and 1 Advanced Practice Provider
  • Newborn to end of life – no OB (OB Shared Care optional!)
  • NOCALL!!
  • ER and/or Inpatient – EXTRAPAY!!!
  • Specialists available including general surgery, cataract surgery, vein procedures (ablation and sclerotherapy), cardiology, ENT, nephrology, OB Shared Care, ophthalmology, orthopedics, neurology, pain management, plastics, podiatry, skin cancer screening, pain, dermatology, and weight management.
  • Lab, X‑ray, ultrasound including Echo, pain management, OP geriatric psych, behavioral health therapy, sleep, MRI, CT, mammography, surgery, nuclear medicine, PT, RT, OT, ST and ER all on site
  • 25‑bed critical access hospital and primary care clinic serving 12,000 residents of Hancock County and surrounding area
  • Level IV Area Trauma Care Facility; affiliate of Mercy One North Iowa, a Level III Trauma Center and regional referral teaching center
Mercy One Medical Group – North Iowa
  • Regional health system covering 15 counties, includes Mercy One North Iowa Medical Center, eight critical access hospitals, and 42 clinics in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota
  • Service area approximately 260,000
  • Telemedicine and teleradiology available
Candidates
  • BC/BE; must be board certified within 3 years of becoming eligible
  • EOE / drug screen required
Compensation & Benefits
  • $150,000 bonus package
  • $301,290 base salary + production
  • 34 days PTO when on base; 40 days PTO when on production
  • Annual CME $4,000

    Optional 457(b) deferred compensation plan

Qualifications

Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required. Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible. Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa medical staff privileges. Above average communication skills. Ability to work with a team. Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license;
Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
