The pianist practices with the vocalists for about an hour prior to services. During the summer, outdoor services are held about once per month. There is a keyboard available for those. Salem is a small and welcoming congregation located in Alleman Iowa, just north of Ankeny. Payment is per service and commensurate with skill.
