Director of data center construction

This is a full-time position for a Director of Data Center Construction in Reno, NV. The role involves leading and managing large-scale data center construction projects from initiation to completion. Responsibilities include overseeing project budgets, managing expenditures, ensuring cost efficiency, supervising procurement processes, and coordinating with contractors and internal teams. The Director will be instrumental in ensuring projects meet quality, cost, and schedule standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Budgeting and Cost Management to ensure project financial performance and efficiency.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Procurement and Construction processes, with the ability to lead vendor selection and manage contracts effectively.
• Proficiency in Civil Engineering concepts and their application to large-scale projects, particularly data center construction.
• Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and ensuring successful project delivery.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Relevant certifications, such as PMP or equivalent, are advantageous.
