Landscape Development Inc. is a leading landscape construction company in California and Nevada seeking a Landscape Construction Estimator to help build our high-performance team. We are seeking a self-motivated go-getter with superb communication skills and familiarity with construction unit costs, assembles, and lump sum pricing. The estimator will work closely with the sales team members to meet goals and support our company growth.

• Review plans, general conditions, schedules, scopes of work, site logistics and other exhibits
• Prepare organized and complete takeoffs
• Request and obtain quotes for all scope from multiple vendors and sub-contractors
• Enters takeoff information and quotes into computer estimating system
• Analyze alternate means and methods to determine value engineering suggestions
• Draft proposal documents

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-5 years of experience within the construction-estimating field or equivalent field experience
• Proficient in reading and understanding construction drawings
• Knowledge of plant and irrigation material, costs, and nursery sourcing
• Ability to gather, calculate, and compile take off data for bid use
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Proficient with On Center Software’s On-Screen Takeoff (OST)
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task

• A construction management background or higher education is a bonus.
• A successful estimating track record of winning public works is a bonus.
• A successful track record of estimating and selling private residential estates is a bonus.

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST

Up to 14 days spread across 4 times a year.

Fully Remote with a preference for those working from California, Nevada, Colorado, Idaho, Ohio, Montana, Texas, or Tennessee.
