Our client is seeking a Superintendent to join their construction team. We are looking for a candidate who values a family-oriented company culture and is committed to upholding our core values of Safety, Integrity, Trust, and Excellence.

Position Overview

The Superintendent will work closely with the Project Manager and report to the General Superintendent. This role is responsible for supervising and coordinating all aspects of assigned construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within specifications, and within budget. Additionally, the Superintendent may assist in training and mentoring assistant superintendents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and participate in the planning and setup of assigned projects.
  • Maintain control of the job site, with a strong focus on safety.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager to develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Coordinate with Assistant Project Managers, inspectors, subcontractors, owners/architects, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any construction issues.
  • Manage the procurement and planning of equipment and materials required for project completion.
  • Supervise all field workers and subcontractors on assigned projects.
  • Oversee project close-out tasks and manage general administrative duties related to job site operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, state and federal laws, OSHA requirements, building codes, and anti-discrimination/harassment regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Extensive knowledge of the construction industry and all phases of construction projects.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in the construction industry.
