The Senior Analyst of Sales Analytics, Non-Commercial National Accounts will drive value within Nestle Professional Solutions by gathering and analyzing data to measure the success of the sales efforts of the division. The Senior Analyst is required to possess an in-depth knowledge of the business and serve as the data authority for the sales team. They are expected to provide insights into both historical and current trends, demonstrate critical thinking, and proactively identify areas for analysis beyond conventional sales performance metrics.
The ideal candidate must utilize their experience to analyze team dynamics, including key accounts, strategies, market influences, and brand impact, to deliver insightful analyses and strategic recommendations, identifying both opportunities and risks within their team(s). The Senior Analyst should adopt a systematic approach to define objectives, collect data, perform analysis, generate insights, and communicate findings to stakeholders. This role will advocate for Sales by identifying needs and engaging in cross-functional collaboration to create essential support tools.
This role will be based in our Solon, Ohio office and report to the Manager of Sales Analytics.
Key Responsibilities Leadership- Serves as primary data expert for assigned business areas and influence decision-making across teams.
- Convert division goals into focused analytical priorities that directly empower the sales team to execute more effectively and deliver stronger results.
- Advocates for team needs by translating goals into practical tools and support that enable better execution.
- Delivers clear, audience-specific insights and leads discussions that deepen understanding of performance drivers and implications.
- Demonstrates agility, self-direction, and strong end-to-end thinking to proactively support evolving business needs.
- Builds strong, trust-based partnerships through proactive collaboration and transparent communication.
- Monitor, analyze and interpret past and current customer, division, and segment performance to identify meaningful trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Transforms complex data into targeted, actionable insights that deliver quantifiable improvements in sales team effectiveness and accelerate growth across key customers and channels.
- Use statistical and analytical methods to uncover performance drivers and model potential future scenarios.
- Integrate customer, brand, and market dynamics into analysis to provide holistic insights.
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects that improve data visibility, reporting efficiency, or business performance.
- Support ongoing business reviews by preparing concise, insight-rich content for stakeholders.
- 3+ years' experience in Sales analytics, Finance, and/or related function within a matrixed company.
- Experience analyzing complex data sets to identify and share trends, insights and provide strategic recommendations.
- Excellent organizational skills to efficiently manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint;
Power BI Desktop is a plus, but not required. - Strong ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches.
- Experience and understanding of Food service preferred.
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree, required.
- Possesses business and financial acumen.
- Demonstrates strong end-to-end thinking.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
