Agronomy Outside Lead

AGRILAND FS, a financially strong farmer-owned cooperative, is looking for a leader in operations, with a strong mechanical aptitude, great organizational skills and experience mentoring others. As a member of our AGRILAND FS team, this person will work closely with the location manager to lead the operations team with knowledge of operating a variety of equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Schedules, leads and performs preventative maintenance projects with team members
• Schedules product delivery and oversees product application
• Assist with application and delivery of agronomy products
• Maintains shop tools and facilities
• Assist with the recruiting operational personnel
• Assist with the training of team members

What we need from you:

• Strong leadership and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to obtain a Class A CDL with all required endorsements
• Excellent business skills with experience in budgeting and inventory.
• Mechanical aptitude with excellent problem solving skills
• Effectively operate all equipment at the facility
• Excellent work ethic with the ability to work hours beyond considered normal
• Very good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Experience or strong understanding of Ag Retail preferred
