Service Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled Auto Service Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for the timely completion of automotive repairs, including determining the scope of repair needs and ensuring repair projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.

• Follow supervisors’ instructions regarding parts restoration or replacement and time estimates.
• Review repair reports, prepare or review repair cost estimates, and plan work to be performed.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on all makes and models of vehicles.
• Follow proper road‑test and diagnostic procedures to determine appropriate recommendations and repairs.
• Test drive vehicles to ensure sound repairs.
• Clean engine and compartment with steam‑cleaning equipment and cleaning agents to remove grease and grime.
• Troubleshoot difficult automotive repair situations using experience, knowledge, and manufacturer recommendations.
• Inspect parts, equipment, or vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards or regulations.
• Keep work area clean at all times.
• Communicate with service advisors and the parts department.
• Attend continued training to maintain current knowledge of Ford vehicles.
• Follow all safety processes and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in automotive technology preferred.
• ASE certification(s) a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive technician or in a related role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic data.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster effective business relationships with internal and external parties.
• Team player with the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrate planning and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and concern for accuracy.
• Good verbal communication and technical skills with the ability to effectively interact with and convey information to people with varying levels of understanding.
• Ability to operate various shop tools, including power and manually operated tools.
• Must provide own tools.
