Apply Now Here we grow again. Max Motors Dealerships is looking for a professional Service Advisor with a minimum of 1 year experience in the automotive service field to join our team. This position requires strong communication skills, a customer-centric mentality, and broad knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
** Responsibilities:
*** Welcoming customers to the dealership and engaging with them to understand their vehicle concerns.
* Ascertaining automotive problems and services by listening to customer's description of symptoms, clarifying description of problems, conducting inspections, checking vehicle maintenance records, and examining service schedules.
* Developing estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor, and calculating customer's payment, including deductibles.
* Maintaining customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle, obtaining customer's approval of estimates, obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers, and answering questions and concerns.
* Handling administrative duties such as processing invoices and maintaining customer records.
* Maintaining automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions planned.
* Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading manufacturers' publications, etc.

* Qualifications:

*** Minimum of 1 year experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive setting.
* Broad knowledge of automotive systems and ability to explain technical diagnoses to non-technical individuals.
* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships.
* Strong verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
* Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
