The Staff Accountant supports the accounting department in maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with the monthly close process. This role prepares journal entries, performs account reconciliations, supports accounts payable and receivable, and ensures compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

This position works closely with the CFO and cross-functional departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions
• Maintain general ledger accuracy
  
  Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports
• Support audit preparation and documentation
• Assist with tax filings and regulatory reporting
• Participate in accounting process improvements
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred
• Manufacturing experience a plus
• Working knowledge of GAAP
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with ERP/accounting software preferred
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
