About the Company - We are hiring a Senior Staff Accountant for our location in Iowa. The candidate will be on-site 5 days per week for 40 hours and report to our VP of Finance.
About the Role - The Senior Staff Accountant should have 3-5 years of accounting experience. Knowledge of Great Plains software is desirable.
- Preparing and maintaining financial reports, records, and accounts
- Handling payroll
- Preparing annual budgets
- Managing month-end closing processes
- Performing other duties as directed by the VP of Finance
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel, especially spreadsheets
- Knowledge of Great Plains Accounting System is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Maintaining confidentiality and integrity
- Mid-Senior level
