Food and food‑service delivery drivers fulfill a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. They ensure customers receive products on time and in good condition, serving as the face of our company and building lasting relationships with customers.

• Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co‑workers professionally, ensuring questions are answered accurately and timely.
• Act as a team member within the department and organization, performing any duty assigned to best serve the company.
• Perform required safety checks (pre/post‑trip inspections) according to Transportation Department (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and company safety standards.
• Report all safety issues and necessary repairs.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
• Inspect trailers for properly loaded and secured freight; immediately report safety hazards.
• Count items and check customer invoices for loaded products.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Move tractor to loading dock, attach preloaded trailer as needed.
• Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule.
• Unload products from the trailer and transport items into designated customer storage areas.
• Perform damage‑control checks on items, scan, and contact supervisor for order removal per company policy.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain proper signatures.
• Collect money (cash or checks) when required, load customer returns onto trailer, and secure trailer doors.
• Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are locked or securely stored.
• Unload damaged goods and customer returns, bring to driver check‑in for necessary paperwork; remove trash from trailers as required.
• Complete daily record of hours of service and log entries per Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area, keeping trailers clear and clean as required.
• At shift end, secure equipment and complete all required paperwork.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma/GED or state‑approved equivalent.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL‑A.
• 21+ years of age.
• Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Valid current DOT Health Card and/or ability to secure a new DOT Health Card.
• Ability to hand‑lift and utilize two‑wheelers, lift gates, and other equipment to move and stack product cases/freight ranging from 10–35 pounds, with occasional loads up to 60–90 pounds.

$30.00 per hour average
