Overview
The University of Iowa Central Microscopy Research Facility (CMRF) is an Office of the Vice President for Research core resource, offering a wide array of instrumentation to research investigators. We are currently in search of a Core Facility Research Professional to perform laboratory maintenance, reagent preparation and reagent inventory. In this role, you will prepare biological research samples for microscopic analysis using established laboratory techniques, including fixation, dehydration, embedding, sectioning, and staining of specimens to ensure high-quality sample preparation.
Due to the variety of equipment within the facility, the candidate will be encouraged to broaden their skill set.
In-Person, located in Eckstein Medical Research Building (EMRB).
