Staff Nurse - IRL Anemia Management Clinic

Overview

The Iowa River Landing Clinic is seeking a 100% Staff Nurse in the Anemia Management Clinic. The Staff Nurse is responsible for assessing patients’ nursing care needs, evaluating the effectiveness of care, integrating nursing theory and research into clinical practice, and ensuring patient care standards are met.

• Apply nursing theory to assess, diagnose, treat, and evaluate patient responses.
• Develop patient care plans based on observations and assessments and recommend interventions to attain expected outcomes.
• Collaborate and integrate information from patients and families into multidisciplinary care plans and evaluate responses.
• Evaluate the quality of nursing care provided by other staff members.
• Provide care with accountability and respect for patient rights and confidentiality; serve as a patient advocate.

  Hours scheduled Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with a one-hour lunch; no late shifts or evenings

• Pay Grade: $60,589 to commensurate

• An Associate’s degree in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing, Baccalaureate degree in Nursing, or Master’s degree in Nursing (MNHP or MSN) is required
• Current license to practice nursing in Iowa is required

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
• Previous clinical experience
