Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform maintenance tasks assigned to the various trades departments.
- Perform work to prevent premature deterioration of buildings and equipment.
- Work in cooperation with in-house departments and approved contractors.
- Perform emergency work when required after hours.
- Participate in all safety trainings as directed.
- Perform duties as assigned as a member of the maintenance team.
- Assist in providing the necessary safeguards to prevent loss of school property.
- Use equipment including but not limited to:
- Vehicles and trailers
- Hand and power tools of the maintenance trades
- Light duty maintenance care of equipment
- Typical nonspecialized construction and repair tools
- Other duties as assigned
