Temporary IT Support Analyst - Deployment

Position Summary

This role is a 12‑month, full‑time temporary support analyst working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The position provides basic level PC desktop IT support services to UI Health Care.

• Configure and install computers using central management tools and techniques.
• Work within a centrally managed healthcare IT environment, including clinical, critical care, research, and departmental spaces.
• Interact with all levels of Iowa Health Care personnel, including patients and visitors.
• Collaborate closely with peer technicians and teams to promote consistent service delivery.
• Adopt standardization, best practices, documentation, customer service excellence, and continuous improvement approaches to IT.
• Exercise all workflows while maintaining state and institutional policies and supporting organizational objectives.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience supporting desktop workstations running Windows 10/11 and M365.
• Ability to move and install IT equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer Service Experience.

• Experience creating and utilizing technical process documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to disarm escalated situations and/or difficult customers.
• Experience supporting a wide array of connected peripheral equipment.
• Experience working in a health care or health industry environment.
• Experience utilizing remote IT support tools.

Pay Range: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour, dependent on education and experience.
