$17.50/hr - $21.00/hr

• Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy and in other Pharmacy Department duties in accordance with state, federal, and company policies.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and Quando prescriptions; if PTCB certified, coach pharmacy technicians and cashiers in operating pharmacy systems and cash registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting themੱਕ and offering assistance with products and services; resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Apply Walgreens service traits, such as proactively offering help and identifying customer needs.
• Develop strong relationships with key customers.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist and Store Manager to maintain workflow, manage inventory, and handle clerical duties.
• Register all related sales on the assigned cash register, handle cash, and assist customers in the OTC aisle.
• Process manual claims for third‑party programs and perform other clerical duties assigned by Pharmacy Manager.
• Assist in inventory management activities such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing pharmaceutical shipments; maintain knowledge of asset protection techniques and file claims for overages, shortages, or damaged goods.
• May assist pharmacist in clinical services, including sample collection and coordination with Walgreens health clinics.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in developing and maintaining relationships with the local medical community, including outreach to healthcare providers and community forums.
• Assist with interior/exterior maintenance to ensure the Pharmacy Department is stocked, clean, neat, and orderly.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated training program or state‑required certification/registration (or earn PTCB as condition of promotion to senior technician).
• Attend trainings and complete PPLs requested by Manager and acquire continuing education credits; maintain knowledge of pharmacy developments.

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling (counting, measuring, weighing).
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.
