Paramedic - Stead Family Children's Hospital - Pediatric Procedure Suite. The University of Iowa Health Care, Department of Nursing is seeking a Paramedic to perform specific tasks to assist members of the Nursing team in providing patient care under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager.

• Perform specific tasks to assist members of the Nursing team in providing patient care under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager.

• Location:
  
  Stead Family Children’s Hospital (SFCH), Iowa City, IA
• Schedule:
  
  40 hours per week, day shift
• Rotations: no weekends, every other holiday
• Percent of Time: 100%

• Graduation from high school
• Current paramedic certification by the Iowa Department of Public Health, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services
• Current course completion card in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association
• Current course completion card in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association
