Job Title: Client Relationship Consultant. Sign-On Bonus: $1,500.
Responsibilities- Build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up, learning about their financial needs and channel preferences.
- Assess customer needs and provide counsel on available deposit and loan products and services; educate clients on digital products and self-service options.
- Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications as appropriate.
- Maintain knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services, including digital channels, and ensure a consistent optimal client experience.
- Collaborate with branch team members and partners to serve clients effectively and with operational excellence and accuracy.
- Identify solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs and engage accordingly.
- Provide guidance and demonstrations of digital banking tools to help meet clients’ financial goals.
This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. The process includes a criminal background and credit check. Failure to meet or maintain NMLS registration requirements may result in offer rescission or employment termination.
Basic Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typically has a minimum of three to four years of job-related retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
- Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital-first mindset
- Demonstrated basic proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer needs both reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred
