Job posted until filled. Permanent full-time position available. Wage: $71,864.00 – $90,438.40 (starting wage contingent upon experience).
Hours:
Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
Under direction, designs and administers Public Works projects. Provides advanced technical engineering problem solving and design work. Writes specifications and contracts and serves as project leader on a wide variety of infrastructure projects.
Minimum Education , Experience, Certification/Licensure, Other- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution and one year of related experience; or five years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Must successfully pass 8-hour Fundamentals of Engineering exam within six months of hire.
- Valid State of Iowa driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
- National Incident Management System Training: IC100, IS700 within two years of hire.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must pass criminal background check.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution and two years of related experience; or six years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in civil engineering.
