Clinical or tenure-track faculty member Department of Prosthodontics

Overview

The University of Iowa’s College of Dentistry is conducting a search for a full-time clinical or tenure-track faculty member in the Department of Prosthodontics. The position is available February 27, 2026; screening begins immediately.

• DDS/DMD or equivalent
• By time of appointment, Master’s Degree or Certificate in Prosthodontics from a CODA/CDAC-accredited program

• Demonstrated experience implementing prosthodontic curriculum and/or teaching innovations.
• Clinical experience through private practice, military service, or institutional practice.
• Proven academic teaching and clinical supervision experience.
• Proficiency with digital dentistry software, including CAD/CAM technology.

• Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any misconduct history or pending research misconduct investigation including but not limited to sexual misconduct in prior employment and provide a related release and will be subject to a criminal background and credential check.
