Child Serve’s Supported Community Living (SCL) service has a job for you! As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide 1:1 personal care, skill development, supervision, and training for children with special health care needs in a child’s home and integrated community settings.
ScheduleFlexible, part-time scheduling with most shifts occurring after 4pm Monday - Friday.
What You’ll Do- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
- Experience working with or caring for children with special health care needs is preferred.
- Basic computer skills and reliable internet access for documentation and online training.
- Good oral and written communication skills, with the ability to document observations and services accurately.
- Willingness to provide transportation as an authorized driver, including passing a Motor Vehicle Record check, car safety check, and having a valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Punctuality and reliable attendance are required.
- Must pass criminal and child abuse background checks.
- Effective communication skills in reading, writing, and speaking English.
