Join Our Team as a Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Ionia, MI
Elevate your anesthesiology career by providing vital anesthesia services in a dynamic hospital setting. As a valued CRNA, you will independently administer anesthesia for a variety of general surgical and endoscopy procedures, supporting a busy Level 4 trauma hospital that manages over 16,000 ER visits annually.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth, with flexible scheduling, supportive supervision, and a focus on patient care excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver anesthesia care across diverse procedures including general surgery, endoscopy, nerve blocks, IV regional, plexus, spinal, epidural, and local infiltration anesthesia.
- Manage ventilation and regional anesthesia techniques tailored to pediatric and geriatric patients.
- Work independently with remote supervision from an anesthesiologist.
- Cover scheduled vacation periods, ensuring seamless coverage within the hospital’s operating and endoscopy rooms.
- Valid Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification.
- Experience with adult and pediatric anesthesia.
- Proficiency in general anesthesia, regional blocks, and airway management.
- Ability to operate within a simulated team environment utilizing the EPIC EMR system.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
Skills:
- Prior experience in a Level 4 trauma setting.
- Knowledge of ventilation management and advanced anesthesia techniques.
- Bilingual abilities for diverse patient populations.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Nursing with specialized anesthesia training.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical CRNA experience.
- Experience with remote supervision and working in fast-paced hospital environments.
- Credentialing expected to take approximately 60 days.
- Must hold valid licensure and certification for practice in Michigan.
- Willingness to travel for credentialing or temporary assignments as needed.
- Mileage reimbursement at IRS standard rate.
- Orientation period at half of the hourly rate.
- Holiday pay at 1.5 times the hourly rate.
Hourly Pay Rate: $180.90
