Overview
We are hiring a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) for a full-time contract opportunity in Ione, CA. This role offers a stable schedule, great compensation, and the potential to transition into a permanent state position with exceptional benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver on-call crisis support and emergency consultations during regular work hours
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including evaluation of criminal and substance abuse history
- Evaluate suicide risks and ensure thorough documentation
- Provide psychotherapy and intervention services, including in high-pressure or physically challenging environments
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to accurately diagnose and manage psychiatric conditions
- Prepare detailed clinical reports and develop individualized treatment plans
- Monitor and document patient progress while maintaining ethical standards and compliance with mandated reporting
- Communicate and coordinate care effectively with medical professionals, support staff, and patients
Qualifications
- Experience:At least 12 continuous months of recent LPCC experience within the past 3 years in a clinical setting
- Education:Masters Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Licensure:Active LPCC license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
- Certifications:Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Documentation:Valid Drivers License or Passport
- Competitive hourly rate of $55.00 $ 57.00
