Job DetailsResource Center for Independent Living, Inc. (RCIL) is seeking to hire a full‑time Independent Living Specialist to work from our newly renovated office in Iola.
ResponsibilitiesEmpower individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals through goal development, peer group facilitation, and community outreach. Collaborate with like organizations. Advocate and deliver the core services of independent living—including independent living skills training, peer counseling, information and referral services, individual and systems advocacy, and youth transition/deinstitutionalization. Travel to consumers' homes and community events is required.
