BETTIS ASPHALT & CONSTRUCTION, INC. is hiring an ALLEN COUNTY LABORER for a temporary, full‑time position from 4/1/26 to 12/15/26.

Location:

12 W Jackson St, Iola, KS 66749. Daily travel to various job sites in the surrounding counties.

• Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites.
• Operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments.
• Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials.
• Assist other craft workers.

40 hours per week; 8‑hour workday. Hours may vary from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Daily travel to job sites located in Coffey, Anderson, Allen, Bourbon, Neosho, Crawford, Labette, Montgomery, Wilson, Woodson, Morris, Chase counties in Kansas.

No educational requirements. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds. Eligible for H2B labor certification. Must be eligible within the United States and available for the entire work period.

• Pay: $20.49 per hour; overtime $30.74 per hour.
• Optional employer‑owned housing $115.00 per week / $230.00 per pay period.
• Health, dental, vision, life, disability insurance (deduction depends on plan selected).
• Paid holidays.
• Travel to and from work sites will be provided from Iola, KS.
• Workers will be reimbursed for reasonable transportation and subsistence costs.
• Daily meals provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day, maximum $68.00 per day, with receipts.
• Reimbursement for visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees subject to government requirements.
