Certified Nursing Assistant

Overview

The CNA provides patient care under the direction and supervision of the RN/LPN. The CNA assists in the patient’s care, anticipating patient and family needs in a proactive fashion. The CNA individualizes and modifies care according to the patient’s needs. The CNA collaborates with other health care team members to enhance the provision of patient care.

• Full Time Night
• 7p - 7a (3 shifts per week)
• CNA required
• BLS preferred

Experience:

Less than 1 year
Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Cert Nurse Assistant - Various

At HMC and WMH may have completed fundamentals of nursing course in lieu of CNA.
