Overview
We are recruiting for a skilled CNC Machinist to join a well-established engineering company based in Inverurie. This role is ideal for a time-served Turner / Miller with experience across both CNC lathes and milling machines.
Responsibilities- Programming, setting and operating CNC turning and milling machines
- Working on Hurco, Mazak, and/or Fanuc controls
- Producing components to tight tolerances
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Carrying out quality checks using measuring equipment
- Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner / Miller
- Strong background in CNC machining (lathe and mill)
- Experience with Hurco, Mazak, or Fanuc controls
- Ability to work from technical drawings
- Good attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset
- Reliable and team-oriented
- Up to £24 per hour, depending on experience
