CNC Machinist

Position: CNC Machinist (Permanent)
We are recruiting for a skilled CNC Machinist to join a well-established engineering company based in Inverurie. This role is ideal for a time-served Turner / Miller with experience across both CNC lathes and milling machines.

The Role:

You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC turning and milling machines, producing precision-engineered components to a high standard. Experience on Hurco, Mazak, or Fanuc controls is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes and milling machines

* Working on Hurco, Mazak, and/or Fanuc controls

* Producing components to tight tolerances

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

* Carrying out quality checks using measuring equipment

* Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a CNC Turner / Miller

* Strong background in CNC machining (lathe and mill)

* Experience with Hurco, Mazak, or Fanuc controls

* Ability to work from technical drawings

* Good attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset

* Reliable and team-oriented
