Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Architect to join a growing construction company based in Oldmeldrum. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to deliver high-quality residential and/or commercial construction projects from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

* Producing architectural designs, drawings, and technical specifications

* Preparing planning applications and building warrant submissions

* Liaising with clients, consultants, and local authorities

* Coordinating designs with structural engineers and construction teams

* Ensuring designs comply with UK building regulations and planning requirements

* Conducting site visits and providing technical support during construction

* Managing project timelines and design deliverables

* Assisting with cost-effective and buildable design solutions

Key Requirements

* Qualified Architect (ARB registered or working towards)

* Proven experience within a construction or architectural practice

* Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and planning processes

* Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit (or similar design software)

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* Ability to work collaboratively within a construction-led environment

Desirable

* Experience working directly for a construction company or design & build contractor

* Knowledge of residential and/or commercial projects

* Familiarity with Scottish planning regulations
