Activus Recruitment is working on behalf of a well-established construction and concrete specialist based in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire. Due to continued demand, they are seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to support projects across Aberdeenshire and the Highlands, with occasional travel across the rest of Scotland and the UK.

As HSEQ Advisor, you will play a key role in promoting a positive health, safety, quality, and environmental culture across multiple sites. Working closely with site teams and clients, you will ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and best practice, while driving continuous improvement in HSEQ performance.

• Conduct site audits and inspections, identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions
• Prepare and review risk assessments and method statements for construction activities
• Develop, implement, and maintain HSEQ policies, procedures, and documentation
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, recommending preventative measures
• Support environmental and sustainability initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance
• Ensure quality control processes are effectively applied across sites
• Monitor changes in HSEQ legislation and advise on necessary updates
• Deliver HSEQ guidance, briefings, and training to site teams

This HSEQ Advisor role would suit a proactive professional with experience in construction or civils, strong regulatory knowledge, and a practical, hands-on approach. Candidates with ISO experience are encouraged to apply, with training available to support ongoing development.
