Overview
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Part-Time Bookkeeper to join a well-established business in Oldmeldrum on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for someone looking for long-term, stable part-time employment.
Responsibilities- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Payroll support where required
- Cash flow monitoring and reporting
- Liaising with external accountants
- Ensuring compliance with UK financial regulations
- Proven experience in a bookkeeping or accounts role
- Proficient in Xero, Sage, Quick Books or similar
- Strong attention to detail
- Good IT skills, including Excel
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of UK VAT and basic payroll
- AAT qualification (or working towards)
- SME experience
- Permanent, part-time position
