The Social Work Team sits within a wider Integrated Community Care Team, providing a service to the adult population aged 25+.The Inverness East Urban and East Rural Teams work together closely to cover a duty service across both areas.

A Degree in Social Work and registration with the Scottish Social Services Council as a Social Worker is essential for this role. A Diploma in Social Work with SSSC registration as a Social Worker is an acceptable alternative.

As part of this role you will work alongside other professionals and agencies to undertake outcome based assessment and care planning for adults, underpinned by relevant legislation, a sound value and theoretical base, and in accordance with NHS policies and procedures.
