This is a full-time, on-site role for a Portable Appliance Tester based in North of Scotland. The Portable Appliance Tester will be responsible for conducting testing and inspection of electrical appliances to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Day-to-day tasks include recording and labeling test results, maintaining accurate records, identifying potential electrical hazards, and providing clients with advice on safety improvements and maintenance schedules.

Additionally, the role requires effective communication to meet client needs and maintain high standards of customer service.

• Competence in Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and understanding of relevant safety regulations
• Ability to identify and assess electrical hazards for safe and compliant operation
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance documentation
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to address client needs effectively
• Physical ability to handle and maneuver equipment as required
• A qualification in electrical safety, City & Guild 2377, or PAT testing certification is a plus
• Experience in the facilities or compliance sector is advantageous but not mandatory
