Job Description

Hourly rate: £12.40 – £14.13 across selected London locations, increasing after 6 months.

Joining Boots as a Customer Advisor is a great opportunity for new entrants or those with retail experience looking for a fresh challenge.

About the role

You will work onsite, reporting to the Assistant or Store Manager. Your responsibilities may include working the tills, advising customers, or handling back‑shop duties.

  • Help customers and put them at ease – listen, answer questions, offer great advice on products, recommend items or a basket.
  • Familiarise yourself with in‑store offers and schemes, and promote them.
  • Ensure the store runs smoothly – displayed products, great till service, assist with stock.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean, presentable store.
  • Receive award‑winning training accredited by the Institute of Customer Service.
What you’ll need to have
  • Full training provided; we look for people who excel in a varied, fast‑paced environment.
  • Effective communication and listening skills.
  • Enjoy teamwork and promote a collaborative dynamic.
  • Understand that small actions make the biggest difference in customer interactions.
  • Desire to be an ambassador for Boots and help customers find the best products.
Desired skills
  • Experience in customer care and delivering great customer service (not essential).
