Job Description
Hourly rate: £12.40 – £14.13 across selected London locations, increasing after 6 months.
Joining Boots as a Customer Advisor is a great opportunity for new entrants or those with retail experience looking for a fresh challenge.
About the roleYou will work onsite, reporting to the Assistant or Store Manager. Your responsibilities may include working the tills, advising customers, or handling back‑shop duties.
- Help customers and put them at ease – listen, answer questions, offer great advice on products, recommend items or a basket.
- Familiarise yourself with in‑store offers and schemes, and promote them.
- Ensure the store runs smoothly – displayed products, great till service, assist with stock.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean, presentable store.
- Receive award‑winning training accredited by the Institute of Customer Service.
- Full training provided; we look for people who excel in a varied, fast‑paced environment.
- Effective communication and listening skills.
- Enjoy teamwork and promote a collaborative dynamic.
- Understand that small actions make the biggest difference in customer interactions.
- Desire to be an ambassador for Boots and help customers find the best products.
- Experience in customer care and delivering great customer service (not essential).
